could you help me? I have two computer (my notebook and remote desktop).
I would like to run the MKR in the remote desktop but I would control from my notebook.
- I create a remote connection my notebook via remote desktop - I start MKR in remote desktop. It work properly. - when I close the remote connection in my notebook, the MKR stop it's work, but all other program run later on. - I connect again. The MKR work again but it skip the unconnect period without working.
There is a solution to use MKR remote desktop separately?
The Mouse and Key recorder needs an active desktop for being able to work. Like a human being it uses keystrokes and mouse clicks. As long as a remote desktop window is open, the Recorder works as expected. When you close the connection, there is no desktop left for the recorder for mouse clicks or keystrokes. You can use the Recorder without an active connection as long as your macro does not contain cliks and keystrokes. A macro containing e.g. file commands or mathematical operations will work also disconnected.
Hello! I have come across MTR by chance, and I think it 's exactly what I need. Only there is a problem. I have a Windwos Server 2012 r2 with all the updates. If I have the remote desktop on, makes MTR exactly what it is only as soon as I close RDP (not unsubscribe) makes it not at all. I understand the correct the MTR only works when I am on the server? I've tried everything in the task scheduler.
Correct. Only if the Remote Connection is alive, the Recorder works correctly. As mentioned before: When you close the connection, there is no desktop left for the recorder for mouse clicks or keystrokes.
